Globally, environmental pollution is becoming a huge problem. Due to rapid population growth, excessive use of chemical fertilizers in agriculture, gas emitted from various types of vehicles, chlorofluorocarbons emitted from industries and mills, garbage, deforestation, the environment is being polluted day by day.
Similarly, the environment is being polluted due to uncontrolled urbanization, toxic gas emanating from nuclear reactors, excessive use of natural resources, etc. Due to environmental pollution, the temperature in Nepal is increasing at the rate of 0.06 degree Celsius every year.
Different kinds of problems have arisen. This has had a negative impact on human health. Problems such as dry eyes, itchy skin, and respiratory problems have arisen. Problems of natural calamities like excess rain, drought, deficient rain, flood and landslide have arisen in the environment.
The weight layer is getting thinner due to CFCs used to make refrigerators, air conditioners, plastic foam. Global warming is becoming a problem. The state of cultural heritage has also been negatively affected.
Due to climate change, the sea level has risen by 1.8 mm per year from 1961 to 2003, and glaciers in the Himalayas are likely to melt and erupt.
At present, the Earth's temperature is rising by 0.74 degrees Celsius. This is destroying the weight layer. Due to environmental pollution, the food of wild animals has been disturbed. It is the duty of all of us to protect the environment. Only when the environment is clean can we stay healthy. Man is an important integral part of the environment. Every human activity has a direct impact on the environment. Therefore, human beings have an important role in protecting the environment.
For this, old vehicles have to be managed. Scientific methods should be adopted to control toxic gases emitted from industries and factories. Natural resources in nature should be used judiciously. The concept of sustainable development should be given top priority. In order to protect the environment, tree planting should be done and it should be properly protected and enhanced. It should be properly protected and promoted. The use of pesticides and chemicals used in nature should be reduced. Acts related to environment should be implemented. The growing population must be controlled. The importance of environmental education should be publicized.
