Increasing industrialization and urbanization are environmental pollution

Industry is the mass production or service of goods according to the need in any field to fulfill the needs of the people. 

In general, the development and expansion of industry improves the standard of living of the people and facilitates the consumption of goods cheaply and easily.

Industrialization has an important role to play in the rapid development of any country or region. 

The sustainable development of the country is possible only through the expansion of industry and rapid changes are taking place in various sectors including the economy of the country. 

Industrial development is also the reason for the rapid development of countries like USA, Australia, Japan, China, UK.

Nepal is an underdeveloped country. Where two thirds of the people depend on agriculture. 

Due to lack of resources and education, training, market and volatile politics, the per capita income of those doing agribusiness here is low. 

By transforming this huge number of unnecessary pressures in the agricultural sector into entrepreneurs and employment, their per capita income and industrialization is absolutely necessary to uplift the economy of the country.

However, the citizens and entrepreneurs here are short of capital and cannot afford to invest in large quantities.

There is also a lack of professional knowledge, skills, training, abilities, technology and experience. 

Therefore, in recent times, the number of foreign investors has been increasing every year. 

China, India and UK are the biggest investors in Nepal. In a country that is thinking of industrialization day by day, it is important for the Government of Nepal to pay attention to where its impact is reaching and how it is reaching.

Lately, environmental pollution has been increasing in different parts of Nepal. Among the various reasons for this are population growth, increasing urbanization and neglect of proper management of garbage inside and outside the house. 

Population growth and urbanization have increased pollution as well as deforestation, which has the greatest impact on the environment.

The environment is the presence of living things, plants, air, water, soil or all organic and inorganic matter on the earth. Which are also natural resources. 

The environment is indispensable for human life. And, it is our duty and responsibility to keep it in balance and cleanliness. 

But, nowadays cities, villages, streets, tolls are all busy with themselves. 

As the government and citizens are becoming irresponsible towards the environment, today Nepal is also included in the list of polluting nations and cities.

Environmental management is about advancing the pace of development in an integrated and uniform manner, without compromising the existence of the environment and conserving natural resources. 

Environmental management is essential to keep the relationship between human and environment smooth. 

It is the environment that provides the basic necessities to human beings, while on the other hand, human beings are creating various problems by encroaching on nature by endangering the environment.

In the process of material progress, human beings have done a disservice to nature and the environment. 

When it interferes with natural objects and existence, it also makes human life difficult. 

It will hinder all kinds of development. Analyzing today's situation, environmental pollution is happening due to various reasons. 

Water pollution, noise pollution, air pollution, land pollution, chemical pollution, uncontrolled population growth, rapid increase in means of transportation, exploitation of natural resources, deforestation, lack of public awareness, lack of national and international coordination for environmental protection are the major causes.

Villages, places being urbanized, roads being built, factories being opened today where people could not reach yesterday, creation of employment means moving towards development of the country. 

However, in the meantime, the government, concerned bodies and citizens must pay attention to the impact of industrial and scientific progress, production and misuse of chemicals and misuse of natural resources on the environment. 

Otherwise, it is a fact that many other kinds of sufferings will befall the country and the people. Because no thought can win by negatively affecting the environment or disturbing its balance. 

Therefore, it is very important for the government to work towards environmental hygiene and environmental management in a timely manner.
