Environmental Air Pollution: Problems and Challenges

Environment means all natural environment such as land, air, water, plants, animals, solids, waste, sunlight, forest and other things. A healthy environment helps maintain the balance of nature as well as the growing nutrition and development of all living things on earth. However, one day today, some man-made technological advances that have degraded the environment have in many ways upset the balance of nature. Since all creatures are created by nature, the natural environment has provided the right environment to the environment. Nature has made the life of all creatures healthy by creating a clean environment. From the very beginning of creation, human beings have had a close relationship with other creatures and plants. Protecting the environment while preserving natural resources is beneficial for all. Since the life of human beings and other creatures depends on the environment, it is very important to protect the environment.

Since man is a creation of nature, he can never live by nature. Man's life depends on the clean environment provided by nature; But he himself is shortening his life by polluting the environment. Knowing that no one can go against nature, man has not hesitated to do wrong in the name of conquering nature. Human beings seem to be disrupting the cleanliness of the natural environment in the process of material progress. Destruction of natural resources is done only by human beings. Other creatures are enjoying laughing and playing in the natural beauty. Due to the irrational actions of human beings, natural rivers, wind, trees, greenery etc. are appearing in a state of distortion. We know that the environment will deteriorate if air and water are polluted by industrial waste and polluted water. When the air is polluted, it is useless for people to imagine that they will be completely healthy and survive.

If the environment is not clean, people will become crippled. It is very difficult to survive with disability. If a person is healthy, it can do many things in life. People should never forget that "health is life". Everyone should realize that people can be healthy only when the environment is clean / so it is necessary today to protect the environment together. No one should be stingy in taking action for its protection. Doing so should not be forgotten, as it has a detrimental effect on the environment.

The act of violating the laws of nature should not come from anywhere or from anyone. It is better not to use explosives that can destroy the natural beauty at the same time. Since the polluted environment is the root cause of the destruction of humankind, it is also possible to try to keep the environment clean. As there is a clean environment for the health of life, there is an urgent need for the individual, society and the world to be aware of its protection.

Environmental Air Pollution: Problems and Challenges

According to the United Nations, air pollution is a major cause of death for nine out of ten people who breathe in polluted air. Tiny particles that cannot be seen in polluted air reach the lungs directly when they breathe. It can cause cancer, pneumonia, heart disease and even fatal diseases.

The World Health Organization estimates that air pollution kills about seven million people worldwide each year. There are various causes of air pollution, including household chores, agricultural products, mills, and vehicle exhaust fumes and other wastes. Especially in autumn, the harvest season begins. To destroy the straw harvested in the fields, they set it on fire, which releases a lot of toxic fumes into the atmosphere. The dust and smoke released in this way mixes with the atmosphere and dilutes the ozone layer. When the ozone layer is depleted, the sun's radiation falls directly on the earth, affecting all living things and nature. Although pollution cannot be controlled, the World Health Organization and the United Nations are working together to reduce it. These two associations are working together focusing mainly on water and air pollution.

Lately, negative changes have been seen in the environment. According to the study, the number of patients coming to the hospital is increasing due to environmental pollution. Outbreaks appear to be exacerbated during childhood and adolescence. Even though school going children wear masks, they are becoming physically and mentally weak due to polluted air. Environmentalists are worried that the growing environmental problem will soon destroy natural resources. In this way, organizations and experts working in the field of environment are working to reduce the destruction of the growing natural resources.

Growing Environment Pollution is the loss of the natural properties of all the elements in our environment. Environmental pollution refers to unnecessary changes in the physical, chemical and biological properties of the environment. Environmental pollution is becoming a major problem in the world today. In the ancient world, only the environment changed due to natural changes, and the pollution in the environment also used to be natural pollution. However, population growth on Earth today is becoming a major cause of pollution. As the population grows, so do the problems of pollution. Pollution is a problem in itself, but there are other environmental problems caused by pollution. Environmental research has confirmed that due to environmental pollution, the earth's temperature is rising, causing severe problems such as excess rainfall, drought and deficient rainfall. Similarly, other major problems are also indirectly caused by pollution. Such problems, caused by pollution, add to the pollution of the environment. According to the nature of pollution, pollution is classified as pollution caused by natural causes such as volcanic smoke, dust pollution and human pollution such as garbage, noise. After all, humans are the indirect cause of natural pollution.

Pollution can occur in the air, water and land of our environment. Pollution in all these areas is directly or indirectly interrelated. Therefore, the pollution in one of these areas has a direct effect on the animals living there and indirectly affects the animals in other areas as well. For example, land pollution also plays a role in water pollution and indirectly affects aquatic life. Today's world is moving towards sustainable development. They are considered as indicators of industrialization, urbanization and prosperity. However, this rapid development process is causing destruction within the increasing pollution development. The industries and factories that are expanding with modernization are on the one hand a symbol of development orientation and on the other hand the problems seen due to lack of proper management of waste are becoming a major cause of pollution. The negative effects of today's increasing pollution are likely to be even greater in the long run. That is why it is important to make environmental pollution a matter of common concern.

Currently, the world's population pressure is very high. The number is estimated to be 6.6 billion, up from about 5 million on Earth about 10,000 years ago. According to population figures, 9,000 people are added to the earth every hour. That is, the population is growing at a rate of 150 per minute. As the population grows, so do the basic human needs. Reliance on natural resources is also expected to increase to meet basic needs such as food, shelter and cotton. There is also an increase in encroachment on natural resources such as forests, wildlife, minerals, etc. As a result, it is having a more negative impact on the environment. Deforestation is one of the clearest examples of global environmental problems due to population growth.

Man wants to dominate the earth, not just to survive. In this context, human beings are competing with other natural resources as well as species of living creatures like forests and wild animals. At the same time, increasing encroachment on forest area and its use for habitat and agriculture is increasing day by day not only in developed countries but also in developed countries. On the one hand, the forest area is being reduced and converted into habitat and agricultural land, while on the other hand, urbanization is turning many arable fertile lands into residential areas. Therefore, it cannot be denied that the amount of agricultural production has decreased due to urbanization. The food problem is another economic and environmental problem. It would not be an exaggeration to say that urbanization and industrialization have caused a lot of negative changes in the environment, although from an economic point of view, these are both positive aspects. From an economic-environmental point of view, every development work is very challenging.

All economic and social activities on earth are directly related to the environment. Therefore, protection of environment is the major need of today for sustainable development. Maintaining environmental balance along with economic development is a common challenge. Today, this challenge is not only for the developed countries but also for the developing nations. Maintaining environmental balance is a challenge even for an underdeveloped country like ours. Reducing environmental pollution as well as proper management of development infrastructures to balance the environment is also an economic challenge for developing nations. However, this small effort could play a big role in reducing the global pollution problem. It is a fact that underdeveloped countries are also suffering from the pollution caused by industries and factories which are flourishing in developed countries today. It is clear that we are being affected not only by our own pollution but also by others. Therefore, it is the responsibility of all of us to protect the environment as environmental pollution affects not only the polluters but also those who do not.

Ultimately, there is a worldwide need to be aware of all the dangers posed by environmental pollution. We, the citizens of underdeveloped countries, also need to have this awareness. Let's take an interest in reducing pollution and make some contribution for raising public awareness. The example of conscious citizens of underdeveloped countries can also be an example to the citizens of developed countries. Various methods can be used to reduce pollution. The environment can be kept clean if awareness work is done not only from the government level but also from the local level. Air pollution can be prevented by using electric vehicles rather than running on petrol and diesel. In the same way, if the improved stove is used for cooking, the environment of the house will remain clean. Even by planting trees along roadsides and around houses, the environment can be kept balanced by reducing pollution to a large extent. Harmful actions can be taken to protect the environment, such as burning garbage on the road, not dumping household waste indiscriminately, not using plastic, and reducing deforestation.
